Salt Hill Pub is by far the best destination for St. Patrick’s Day. With traditional Irish music, plenty of refreshments, and a great menu featuring many Irish dishes – you’d be silly not to be there. The restaurant boasts a wide variety of beers on tap – including Guinness of course and the bartenders are very knowledgeable regarding the drinks that they serve. They can even make the clover in the Guinness foam (just ask them to do it – you’ll see what I mean). The music is good on most nights and especially good on St. Patrick’s Day. Get ready though – there will be a large crowd of people there and there will be a lot of people dancing. It is a lot of fun and a great atmosphere. The bands usually play a lot of traditional Irish music and also some more contemporary fun tunes as well. The food is also very good. They have traditional corned beef and hash, dishes with cabbage, and other delicious traditional foods – as well as some more modern American cuisine if that is what you are into (they have excellent chicken wings as well – they go great with beer). I have not seen green beer at this establishment – but I bet they could do it. To find more great places this Holiday, visit globalYP.net, a local online directory.
